About PCC Faisalabad
PCC Faisalabad was established in 1988. The institution has been functioning smoothly ever since.
PCC is situated in the heart of the city and is easily approachable from all corners of the city and its suburbs. Day scholars do not face any inconvenience in arriving at college.
The newly-built campus has a grand facade attracts the eyes of the passers-by. The inside of the campus is a series of capacious, well-furnished and air-conditioned rooms, a state-of-the-art computer lab and an auditorium. Most modern Audio-visual Aids like Over-head Projector and Multimedia are also available to make the teaching process more effective.
Commensurate with Punjab Group's high vision of permeating quality education down all strata of society, PCC consistently maintains quality teaching, punctuated evaluation and improvement upon the students' performance – all to prepare them well for the final examinations.
In this era of fast communication, PCC has not lagged behind. Parents are kept well-informed about the students' performance in studies through phone, post and SMS. Parents have greatly appreciated SMS through which they are instantly intimated about the result of the students and other.
PCC offers a panorama of co- and extra-curricular activities to give opportunity to students' with every type of talent. Sports Gala, Literary Competitions, Mehfil-e-Milad, Mehfil-e-Mushaira, Welcome and Farewell Parties, Recreational Tours, Annual Prize Distribution Function, Musical Show of popular singers are a few among the multifarious events held from time to time.
Besides in-house events, PCC also participates in Literary and Sport Competitions held by the BISE Faisalabad. Like academic achievements, the students have been coming off with flying colours in such competitions every year. General Trophy for Sports was won 8th time successively and General Trophy for Literary Competitions was won the 6th time successively. In academics, Maira Amin, Maria Ikram and Farah Anjum notched first, second and third positions respectively in Commerce Group (Girls). Similarly, Muhammad Safeer Khan (2nd in Commerce in BISE Faisalabad) maintained the supremacy of the college in I.Com. PCC has, thus, become a landmark of success by keeping a track record of successes in academics, co- and extra-curricular activities.
